Sports Mom, Book Mom, Launch Mom, Tired Mom

January is proof that time is just a construct.

2025 kicked off with the audacity of a month somehow stretching itself into what feels like a full year. Lots of big shifts in the air and big reality checks on the ground, so we're riding the waves of change with our signature mix of determination and barely-concealed chaos.

January’s theme was "sports mom gone wild" – Zach has now nailed his 360 on the slopes, which has me reaching peak proud mom decibels – while Elizabeth has transformed into a literary zealot, flying through books faster than we can buy them. And because we like an excuse to get a little “extra” around here, Elizabeth fully embraced Blue Green Day at school with a full head of green. I felt like a cool “punk mom” right up until I realized I’d be scrubbing green off the bathroom counter for days.

MY NEW GOSPEL: Elizabeth has gotten me HOOKED on Gender Swapped Fairytales.

T-minus 14 days until the launch of our new and crown jewel product at Partytrick, and we're in that wild phase where coffee has become less beverage, more life force. We're deep in hiring mode, too! If you didn’t catch all the details in our previous newsletter, check it out here!  I know I share snippets about Partytrick here monthly, but I’m going to be sharing so much more about exactly who we are and what we do over on my IG, so please follow along!

WORTH STAYING AWAKE FOR AFTER A LONG WORK DAY: Lenny's podcast with Graham Weaver.

I started the month waxing philosophical about connection, love, and rest... until mid-month hit like a sledgehammer, and suddenly my deep thoughts about self-care turned into deep focus on deadlines.

I did manage to spend some time in NYC reminding myself why in-person connections can't be replicated by even the most elegantly crafted Zoom backgrounds. And despite my love and desire for in-person connection, I perfected a new favorite Friday-night-at-home routine: me, my bed, some work (because let's be real), LaCroix, and good skincare products.

MY FAVORITE WINTER SKINCARE: I’m officially filing for a marriage license with this miracle brand. #iykyk
